Advantage Engineers, a professional services company providing consulting solutions in telecom, geotechnical and environmental engineering, has merged with Synergy Development Services and Synergy Engineering Services, a wireless telecom engineering and consulting firm. The combined entity will have over 300 employees across the country, enabling it to better serve national and regional customers.
Synergy, which will operate as a division of Advantage Engineers, is headquartered in Van Nuys, California, and has offices in Santa Rosa, Irvine, Ventura, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Bozeman, Montana. Synergy founder Ryan Shields will continue as vice president of the Synergy division overseeing daily operations. He will also join Advantage Engineers’ Board of Directors.
Advantage Engineers also appointed John McGrath as CEO. He will succeed Advantage Engineers’ founder Ed Balsavage, who will continue to serve as a member of the Board.
In 2016, Advantage Engineers partnered with First Capital Partners and Patriot Capital Group to launch the next phase of its strategic growth.
