Interface Communications, an engineering and installation provider for network cabling, audio/visual and security solutions, has sold its controlling interest in its wireless division to Linx, another low voltage contractor. The wireless division was primarily focused on designing and installing networks to improve coverage inside buildings for the wireless carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as wireless networks used by first responder organizations.
During the transition, Interface and Linx will be working closely together to ensure fulfillment of all the company’s commitments and the completion of all current projects.
Interface will continue to carry on business as usual with their other divisions, namely the structured wiring, audio/visual, security and traffic divisions. John Haggerty, President of Interface Communications, said, “We are very pleased to have finished this transaction with Linx. While we remain respectful and friendly competitors with Linx, we look forward to focusing all of our attention and resources on our core business groups in the years to come”.
