Polarium, a Swedish company with international sales of lithium-ion energy storage products and services, has hired Jonas Bengtsson as part of its management team, the company disclosed. Polarium said he will assume the role of head of corporate affairs later in the year.
“With his broad experience and expertise in navigating complex markets and helping global companies scale operations, Jonas Bengtsson will be a key asset to Polarium’s continued growth journey,” a statement from the company reads.
Bengtsson has 20 years of experience of working in global organizations with complex issues related to compliance, capital markets, shifting business models, regulation changes and strategic stakeholder management on all levels, Polarium said. It said his experience includes leading several legal teams delivering sufficient and efficient corporate governance at Tele2 and Telenor.
Bengtsson previously was head of corporate affairs and general counsel at Telia, where he was responsible for legal and regulatory teams, according to Polarium. In addition, he has been in charge of the mergers and acquisitions department at Telia, overseeing transactions, Polarium said.
