Kari Willis, president and co-founder of E Factor, has won the 2018 Orange County Woman to Watch Award. As a woman under 40, Kari has already displayed significant success, not only in navigating male-dominant fields early in her career, but also in starting her own company.
The Women of Influence Awards recognize women leading the way in business and industry, as well as organizations that thrive under the leadership of women. The 2018 Orange County awards were presented at a ceremony held at the Hilton Irvine. The awards were presented by Connected Women of Influence in celebration of Women’s History Month.
As a young professional, Kari pursued highly-competitive marketing roles, first at Fox Sports, and then within the wireless industry. In the latter, she found a tremendous need for fresh and impactful marketing initiatives and events. A self-starter to her core, she took it upon herself to carve out improved marketing teams within these companies, creating change and progress, all while earning the respect of her male peers.
Kari recognized the opportunity for innovation within the experiential marketing events sector. Kari, along with her husband, Chris Willis, decided to take a risk and form their own firm to amplify their ability to make an impact in creating unique “experiences” for brands and events.
