AGL Media Group is introducing a new series of video conversations with leading figures in the wireless infrastructure industry, known as AGL Connections. These videos, which will be featured in the newsletter and online, will feature interviews that touch on the key opportunities and challenges facing our industry today.
AGL Connection interviews will be conducted by Martha DeGrasse, a freelance writer and publisher of Network Builder Reports. Previously she was an editor at RCR Wireless News, where she authored more than 20 in-depth feature reports.
The first interview of the series is conversation with Alex Gellman, CEO of Vertical Bridge, who gives his outlook for towers in the year ahead and the perspective of his lessons learn from the year before.
“2020 was not a great year for certain aspects of the business. Certainly, I would say leasing suffered overall for our companies in the United States,” Gellman told DeGrasse. “I think there was a lot of hope by others around a pick up in the second half that really feel ever materialized.
“As we look ahead. I think it does inform what 2021 looks like I think that we’re going to see a flip flop, whereas this year was driven by AT&T and Verizon, 2021 will be driven by Dish Network and T-Mobile,” he added.
In the future, AGL eDigest readers will be treated to the views of Jonathan Adelstein, CEO, Wireless Infrastructure Association; Jennifer Alvarez, CEO, Aurora Insights; John Fitzhugh, CEO, ConcealFab; Giuseppi Incitti, CEO, SiteTracker; Dagan Kasavana, CEO, Phoenix Towers International; Koen ter Linde, SVP, CommScope; Trey Nemeth, VP and GM, Raycap; and David Saul, SVP, McGriff Insurance Services.
And more to come.
