FieldSENSE USA has added the 5G-ready FS60 RF Monitor to its line of RF detection monitors, which has a frequency range of 50 MHz to 60 GHz.
The third generation FS60 is durable, dependable, and the latest to the tried and
tested line of FieldSENSE RF monitors.
“We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of the brand new FS60 RF Monitor that has been in development for more than a year,” Max Birch, principal designer for FieldSENSE, said. “When we saw 5G on the horizon in the telecom industry we knew there would be a need for an even more powerful device and we put in the time, engineering, and testing to make the FS60 the premier RF monitor at an affordable price.”
Regardless of whether you’re working in the nearfield of a broadcast system or in the far-field of a 5G system, the device accurately assess exposure. This ensures on-site employees have a consistently reliable awareness of their exposure level. It measures exposure in both the E and H fields with a shaped response and calculates the total amount of RF being absorbed by the worker.
The new harness attachment design makes it even easier and safer for the worker to view the device, and work without interruption. With a specially designed clip mechanism and a coiled lanyard system the attachment allows for smooth handling of the device and prevents drops.
The FS60 also features a fall detection system which triggers an alarm in the event of a climber falling to alert others on site that an accident has occurred to increase the speed of rescue. Other features like voice notes, and data logging are built in for even more functionality and can be downloaded for reference later.
The device uses common AAA batteries instead of a proprietary power source so there is no need to charge the device or source specialty batteries. And it includes a compact zipper case with a custom-moulded insert to ensure the device is protected during transit or storage.
