A program to connect leaders in the wireless infrastructure industry through peer mentoring was recently launched by Cathedral Consulting, a management consulting firm headed by wireless industry veteran and CEO Seth Buechley. Called “Wireless Competitive Edge,” the program is built around monthly online forums and semi-annual summits where members gather to share real-time industry insights in a confidential environment where leaders address business challenges and learn best-practices from trusted peers.
The program was initially announced, Jan. 24, at the AGL SoCal Summit in Newport Beach, California.
“Cathedral oversees these peer mentoring forums in other industries and the members form an amazing community of support,” said Buechley. “For whatever reason, something like this hasn’t been available in the wireless infrastructure space. In my career as a leader in tower development and the DAS sector, I would have loved to be able to benchmark my company performance with peers who weren’t direct competitors.”
The first three Competitive Edge Forums are open to leaders in three areas of the wireless industry; leaders involved with outdoor networks (towers/antennas/new builds), leaders involved with indoor networks (CBRS/DAS/public safety), and leaders involved in site development (permitting, planning, project management).
